Saul 6412 Stanbrough Lane Dallas, GA 30157 Home: (770) 445-0131 Cell: (404) 606-3841 Email: mikesaul.1968@gmail.com SUMMARY Most recently, I was employed as a .NET Web Developer for Microbilt, Inc. My primary duties included maintaining and updating various sections of the existing corporate website in ASP. Additionally, I was assigned a project to plan the integration of a 3rd party-built PHP and MySQL-based social networking application into their existing ASP and new .NET sites. Previously I was a Web/Application Developer for Prenova, Inc., an Energy Process Management company. The solutions were .NET and SQL server, n-tier applications utilizing ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL 2000 and 2005, MapPoint and GraphicsServer.NET. Version Control and Source Control were managed via MS SourceSafe 6b. I had been the primary developer responsible for the customer-facing portion of the applications, PreVue. The application used XML to translate data form the SQL back-end to the front-end graphics presentation to display energy usage and cost data in chart and report formats. The corporate internet site, while graphically controlled by our marketing department, utilized CSS formatting and DHTML, as well. That site has since been replaced. I also worked on a contract basis for PictureU Promotions, Inc. as a web developer. My primary duties involved building event sites from custom graphic designs, and implementing standard template code to access a CGI back-end allowing for Promotional Event Photo access. The majority of this work was in HTML with CSS presentation control and Javascript in a Linux environment. Prior to Prenova, my primary employer was Concert Global Networks, a joint venture between AT&T and British Telecom, which was dissolved in 2002. At Concert, I was the Webmaster Team Lead responsible for inter- and intranet content management and development for the Asia-Pacific region, as well as internal sales departments. The environment was ASP with VBScript and JavaScript, with version control using MS SourceSafe. I helped create a change request/new development request process which cut the turnaround times for most projects from one week or more to less than 3 days, on average. During the time between Concert’s closing and my start at Prenova, I took my severance and time opportunity to return to school full-time. I completed nearly three full years of course work in one and a half years as I earned my B.S. in Software Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. Some of the project work I completed during these studies included exposure to PHP, Java, JSP, and Oracle, as well as Unix. I believe that I have the skills and drive, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, to make a considerable contribution to any organization. Thank you. Michael Saul Michael I.
